The photocatalyytic technologies have been extended for degradation of pollutants from waste water. Coating the photocatalyst mass on a suitable support without loss of photocatalytic activity is of particle importance. In this review, the some types of coating were studied. The role of surfactant as an absorbent was explained and The formation process of surfactant coating of photocatalysts was shown . Then the important method of photocatalyst coating on surface, sol-gel dip-coating and electrochemical coating was explained, and their steps were shown in tow algorithm. Finally the combined coating method was recommended to reaching well-defined thickness of photocatalyst on substrate.
