Abstract
One-dimensional modeling of oxidative coupling of methane (OCM) process has been performed with a distributed oxygen feed along the reactor using La2O3/CaO catalyst. Methane conversion, oxygen concentration, C2 product yield and the amount of carbon dioxides in distributed oxygen feed reactor (DFR) have been compared with single oxygen feed reactor (SFR). In the absence of nitrogen the yield of C2 in distributed oxygen feed reactor is higher than co-feeding configuration. Also the effect of ratio on the C2 efficiency and COx production in DFR without inert gas has been investigated.
