Abstract
Nanogels are polymer-based gels with high biocompatibility and biodegradable formulation. These gels are risen to fame because of their valuable application particularly in the medical field for drug delivery systems as a good carrier. Although the information about nanogels surface tension would help in understanding their behavior in controlling processes and applications, there are not many studies on this matter. So, in this context, after synthesizing chitosan nanogel and coating them by alginate, the surface tension of their aqueous solution was studied in different concentrations. From the results, it is deduced that this nanogel acts like surfactants and decreases water surface tension
