Simulation of a reactive flow using Multiple Relaxation Time Lattice Boltzmann Method

In this paper, the simultaneous simulation of mass and momentum transfer has been done using the Lattice Boltzmann method, multi relaxation time, and collision-based kinetic reaction model. The results have been analyzed and compared with a traditional finite element method simulation. The results of the simulation had a remarkable matching with the results of the finite element method. The multiple relaxation time method in the section of fluid dynamics helps to increase the numerical stability. Also, the multiple relaxation time method in the section of mass transfer simulation, decreases the error to the half in some cases and eliminates some of the outlier data.
